Youth Concertmaster Selected as Soloist for Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
Phoebe Liu was the featured artist of a joint performance by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra.

From Westminster: Westminster is pleased to announce junior Phoebe Liu performed as a soloist during a concert with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Phoebe was the featured artist of the Side-by-Side Concert—a joint performance by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra—held at Atlanta Symphony Hall on Wednesday, March 29. She soloed “Concerto in D major for Violin and Orchestra” by composer Erich Wolfgang Korngold.
"Phoebe's preparation of this masterpiece was both technically brilliant and musically meaningful,” according to Upper School band and orchestra instructor Dr. Scott Stewart. “She possesses the violin skills of a highly advanced player, but also the joy and passion of youth that allows for depth of expression. Her performance with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra was sparkly and received with an instant standing ovation by a packed house. The Westminster community could not be more proud!”
