Buford Welcomes New Affordable Senior Independent Living Community

BUFORD, GA — Wisteria Place of Hamilton Mill, one of Buford’s newest affordable senior independent living communities, will celebrate its grand opening on Thursday, according to a release.

The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. in the community room at 2736 Hamilton Mill Road in Buford. Guests will hear from community leaders and speakers who have been closely involved with Wisteria Place of Hamilton Mill’s success, according to a news release.

Wisteria Place of Hamilton Mill offers 100 spacious one and two-bedroom apartment homes to seniors in one four-story building. Each home is complete with modern conveniences, including a full kitchen with energy efficient appliances, hardwood-style flooring, ceiling fans and washer and dryer hook-ups.

Residents are able to take advantage of many community spaces, including a furnished community room, business center, fitness center, barber and beauty shop, outdoor patio with grill area, bocce ball court and fire pit, as well as a community garden.

Wisteria Place of Hamilton Mill is made possible through the state and federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit programs, according to the release.
