Woman Stabbed to Death by Sister's Boyfriend, Police Say
Gwinnett PD: Alfredo Hilario Allen is accused of stabbing Erin McKinney, 25, multiple times after they argued around 3 a.m. Monday.

A Gwinnett County man has been charged with murder for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend’s sister to death after an early morning argument.

Alfredo Hilario Allen, 40, of Lawrenceville, is accused of stabbing Erin McKinney, 25, multiple times around 3 a.m. Monday in an apartment at the Oakbrook Pointe Apartment Complex in unincorporated Norcross, police said Monday afternoon.
Allen’s apparent girlfriend, Candice McKinney, 30, also was stabbed after being woken up by the attack. She was treated and released from Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville.

The apartment complex is located at 1635 Pirkle Road.
Police said in a news release officers responded to a person stabbed report and found the sisters both suffering from multiple stab wounds. Erin McKinney died at the scene; her sister was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville.
According to police, the preliminary investigation indicated the following (from news release):
- Shortly before 3am, Erin McKinney (age 25) and her sister’s boyfriend, Alfredo Hilario Allen (age 40), got into an argument inside the home. During the interaction, Allen began stabbing Erin multiple times.
- Allen’s girlfriend, Candice McKinney (age 30) woke up when she heard Erin yelling. Candice left her room and saw the incident from the hallway. Allen then began stabbing Candice, while Erin fled into a closet of the home.
- When Allen notices that Erin has fled, he then leaves the home. Erin calls 911 to report the stabbing. She tells the 911 dispatcher that Allen drives a grey Chevrolet Impala. She eventually ceases communication with the dispatcher.
The suspected car was spotted shortly later on Steve Reynolds Boulevard near Beaver Ruin Road. Allen was apprehended by several officers.
He has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
