The national award recognizes teachers who are making a difference in the lives of students through leadership and positive behavior.

CANTON, GA — Three educators in the Cherokee County School District have been nominated for the 2018-2019 LifeChanger of the Year Award.

The initiative recognizes public school educators and employees "who are making a difference in the lives of students by exemplifying excellence, positive influence, and leadership," according to LifeChanger's website. National winners will be selected by a committee and surprised at their schools in the spring, with a grand prize winner announced in May.
