GA Man Gets Life In Prison For Killing Mistress' Husband
He was convicted of killing his mistress' husband who was in Cherokee County visiting from Montana.

CANTON, GA — Robert Gialenios was sentenced on Monday to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of Bryan Overseth in January 2017, according to a report. Gialenios, 36, was convicted of murder charges on Thursday, Feb. 7.
Gialenios was convicted of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to the Cherokee Tribune & Ledger-News.
The body of Overseth, a resident of Bigfork, Montana, was found around 10:40 p.m. Jan. 21, 2017, on a private access drive in the Harmony on the Lakes subdivision. He was shot in the head with a .22-caliber firearm, reports say.

Overseth was the husband of a woman Gialenios had been having an affair with, reports say. The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported the woman as telling investigators she had broken things off with Gialenios, but he wanted her to leave Overseth.
Holly Springs police previously said Overseth was visiting friends and family in Cherokee County when the fatal shooting took place.

According to the AJC, Gialenios faces life in prison plus five years for a weapons conviction.
