Holly Springs Citizens Police Academy Expands

Citizens have a chance to meet the officials and get an insider's look at how police operate.

HOLLY SPRINGS, GA — More Holly Springs residents can step up to Citizens Police Academy starting on April 1, thanks to an expansion of the program by police. The eight-week program gives citizens a glimpse into modern policing.

Police say citizens will have a chance to meet command staff and detectives, learn uniform patrol and response strategies, K-9, police equipment, and policies and laws.

Attendees will get some critical decision making training and tons more.
