Reformation Brewery In Canton Participating In GA Beer Day

CANTON, GA — Raise a pint on Saturday to support a Canton brewery during the annual Georgia Beer Day on March 5.

Reformation Brewery will be participating this year, including its Canton, 225 Reformation Parkway Suite 500, and Woodstock, 105 Elm St., locations.

The annual celebration is organized by the Georgia Craft Brewers Guild and benefits its members while highlighting Georgia’s craft beer industry.

"Georgia Beer Day is a special moment for all of Georgia's independent craft breweries in our journey to set beer free and celebrate the enormous impact we have on our local communities throughout Georgia," Reformation Brewery CEO/Founder Spencer Nix told Patch. "Reformation Brewery exists to liberate moments that matter to the Reformer in everyone and this is such a moment for our industry. We have come so far yet we still have so much to accomplish to reform our communities for good."

This year, 70 breweries across the state are participating and will be selling a limited edition 16 oz. pint glass, with $1 of proceeds going toward the guild.

Designed by artist Ali Lamoureux, the theme of the 2022 commemorative glass is, “From the Blue Ridge Mountains to Driftwood Beach,” which highlights two of the most recognizable Georgia landscapes.

The Canton location will also be celebrating Mardi Gras, with beer, beads and live music at 7 p.m.
