Service League of Cherokee County Announces Return of Riverfest

The 2016 Riverfest Arts and Crafts Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 24.

The 2016 Riverfest Arts and Crafts Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The popular Riverfest event, presented by the Service League of Cherokee County, will take place at Boling Park in Canton along the picturesque banks of the Etowah River. Riverfest is a juried show, featuring original, creative, handmade work from artisans all over the region. Additionally, the event showcases extraordinary entertainment throughout the weekend - live music and dancing - as well as a fun-filled children's area where children of all ages can participate in a number of kid-friendly rides and activities.

Patrons, new and those returning, are invited to save the date for Riverfest, the Service League’s largest annual fundraising event, with all proceeds benefiting the needy children of Cherokee County. Those traveling during the September Fall break from school will want to include plans to come home to Riverfest.
