1. At the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council summer conference, Cherokee County Solicitor-General Todd Hayes was named the Solicitor-General of the Year. Hayes is a member of the Rotary Club of Canton and the Canton Optimist Club. (Cherokee Tribune Ledger News)
2. The Malon D. Mimms Boys and Girls Club in Canton offers youth programs for kids and teens in an "inclusive, safe environment" to help them reach their full potential. Located at 1082 Univeter Road in Canton. (Cherokee Tribune Ledger News)
3. The Cherokee Theatre Company is seeking volunteers for William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" performance at the Downtown Canton Theatre. The theater is located at 171 E.
