3 Charged With Fraud Involving Home Depot Accounts
Cartersville police conducted an undercover operation after receiving complaints of fraudulent charges made to customers' accounts.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Three people have been slapped with fraud charges in connection to suspicious activity reported on The Home Depot customer accounts, the Cartersville Police Department said.
The agency throughout the month of September received multiple complaints of charges to accounts that were not made by Home Depot customers. So, detectives with the Cartersville Police Department Criminal Investigations Division conducted an undercover investigation Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Home Depot store at 100 Gentilly Boulevard.
That operation led to the arrest of three subjects while "they attempted to commit additional financial frauds," the Police Department said on its Facebook page.
