Bartow County School System Makes Leadership Changes

Clint Turza and David Chiprany will assume their new roles July 9 in the Bartow County School System.

The Bartow County Board of Education has approved two key leadership changes starting July 9. Clint Terza will assume the role of chief leadership and learning officer, a position that was left vacant in June when Kimberly Fraker was named the sole finalist for the superintendent’s position in the Gordon County School District, Bartow County said in a news release.

Terza comes to Bartow with more than 23 years of experience in the Cobb County School District, holding principal positions in elementary, middle, and high schools for the last 15 years. Terza currently serves as the principal of South Cobb High School.

“This is a great opportunity to work with a very successful, student-centered leadership team that
values the collaborative culture,” Terza said in the release. “I also look forward to working with elementary, middle, and high schools, helping and supporting the students, staff, and families in Bartow County.”

David Chiprany, the current chief academic officer, will fill a new role in the Bartow County School System as deputy superintendent.

“It’s an honor and privilege to receive this promotion,” Chiprany said in the release. “I’ve been blessed to be a part of this system for one year, and I’m determined to build on our successes and provide a quality, full opportunity education for all learners in Bartow County.”
