Bartow County School System has partnered with Cartersville Medical Center to offer students a behind-the-scenes look at the medical industry through exposure to healthcare professionals and hospital departments.

During the 2019-2020 school year, the Bartow County School System anticipates the development of a comprehensive core curriculum based on recommendations from Cartersville Medical Center. Once complete, the specialized program will officially launch in 2020 with the first cohort of freshman magnet students, a news release from Bartow County School System said.

“We are extremely excited to be the healthcare sponsoring facility for The Center for Advanced Studies in Medical Sciences at Woodland High School,” Cartersville Medical Center CEO Chris Mosley said in the news release.
