Bartow School Bus Driver Charged With DUI: Reports
A substitute school bus driver in Bartow County was reportedly arrested on the job after having wine on the bus and being accused of a DUI.
BARTOW COUNTY, GA — A substitute school bus driver was stripped from her route and arrested after being accused of driving under the influence while transporting students on Friday, media reports say.
The driver, identified as Lori Hagaman, with Bartow County Schools had wine in a cup holder while on the bus, WANF reported, citing an arrest warrant.
One of the students, a 15-year-old boy, FaceTimed his mother while riding the bus, WSB-TV reported.

Hannah Boerger told the news outlet that she could see the driver "weaving in and out of traffic, and several cars had to swerve to avoid hitting her."
Students attempted to get the driver's attention but were unsuccessful, she told WSB-TV.

“She just looked very monotone," Boerger said. "She didn’t react to what they were saying. They offered help, and she was just non-responsive."
Hagaman was arrested on 31 charges of reckless conduct, driving under the influence and having an open container, WANF reported.
She is no longer employed with the local school district, school officials told reporters.
