Bartow Set for Freeze Warning Tonight
Low temps this Halloween night and into Thursday morning could dip into the upper 20s or lower 30s in north Georgia, according to the National Weather Service.
Another freeze warning is in effect for Cartersville and Bartow County tonight and Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Effective from 8 p.m. Wednesday through 10 a.m. Thursday, it warns temperatures could dip into the upper 20s or lower 30s in north Georgia.
A freeze warning means freezing temperatures are forecast to threaten outdoor plants. Those with agricultural interests in the warned area are advised to harvest or protect tender vegetation.

High fire danger in north and central Georgia this afternoon and evening is a result of low humidity and strong winds due to Hurricane Sandy, according to the NWS alert.
Winds are expected to remain strong this Halloween at 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 to 25 mph. The good news for trick-or-treaters: today's high is set to reach 62.
