• Decades-long quest leads to first scholarly accurate fossil replica of 'dinosaur-killer' croc (geologypage.com) — Cartersville’s Tellus Science Museum is now home to the first fully scholarly accurate, life-sized replica of the dinosaur-hunting croc Deinosuchus schwimmeri, commissioned specifically for the museum. Built from high-resolution 3D scans and decades of research, the massive 30-foot mount gives local students and visitors a rare, up-close look at the Cretaceous ecosystem that once covered Georgia and the Southeast.
