Age: 57

Why are you seeking this office? I am born and raised in Bartow where five generations have been educated in this school system. I have a love for our community and the people in it, and I long to see our children on the path to success. My history as a business owner with hands-on experience and real-life skills learned over the years places me in a unique position to benefit our children, educators, parents, staff and taxpayers in a very beneficial way. My door will stay open to questions, concerns and issues should I be elected. My voice is a voice for “we the people.” Over the last six years I’ve been a strong advocate for the Senior School Tax Exemption, and it will finally be on the ballot in November. I’m already assisting employees of our school system, students and parents to resolve issues they needed help with. I will work hard and I will be there for all the people.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it. Left-wing ideology that does not align with the majority of voters in Bartow County. I intend to vote against it every single time I’m presented with the opportunity, and I’ll advocate for our students to obtain an education that will prepare them for the future.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post? I have the skills and ability to get things done from day one and to keep liberal ideology such as CRT and boys in girls' sports out of our school system because our kids need to be educated — not indoctrinated. I am the only true Republican in my race, and I have a strong history of standing up for sound, moral values.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign? Securing Senior School Tax Exemption. Proponent for better filtering software to be placed on school-issued laptops so our children cannot access X-rated sites from their homes while on Wi-Fi.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job? Over the years I have owned and operated three successful businesses and advocated for members of our community in various situations. I have the ability to consider all sides of a discussion or issue and make a fair decision for all involved parties. I’m kind and compassionate while at the same time decisive. I’m not confused about who and what I represent. I know my Lord and Savior Jesus. I’m a Republican and I vote Republican. People matter to me.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you? “Run your political race in a way that honors God because you have to live with the things you say and do for the rest of your life. ” — Pastor Andrew Hight

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions? I will not compromise my values, and I will be accessible to teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and taxpayers even after the election. If you speak to me confidentially, you can count on me to honor that promise. I am who I say I am and I’ll do what I say I’ll do.
