Cartersville City Schools 2013-2014 Open Houses Begin
Students will get a chance to meet their teachers and see their new classrooms or schools during the first week of the school year.
Gearing up for the 2013-2014 school year, the Cartersville City School System has already started welcoming students with a chance to meet their teachers and check out their new classrooms or schools.
Sixth grade open house at Cartersville Middle School took place Monday, Aug. 1, but the remainder of open houses are set for next week.
They will be held as follows, according to the school system's website:
Kids & Company PreK
Monday, Aug. 5
5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Cartersville Primary School
Monday, Aug. 5
Kindergarten: 8 to 10 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.
First and Second Grade: 4 to 6 p.m.
Cartersville Elementary School
Tuesday, Aug. 6
4 to 7 p.m.

Cartersville Middle School
Note: Sixth grade open house took place Aug. 1.
Seventh and eighth grade:Monday, Aug. 5
5 to 7 p.m.
Cartersville High School
Freshman Orientation
Monday, Aug. 5, at 6 p.m.
School-wide Open House
Thursday, Aug. 15, at 6:30 p.m.
