Cartersville Police Arrest Boy After Dollar General Armed Robbery
Police say they were called to the Dollar General on an armed robbery call and quickly arrested a juvenile who was running away.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — Authorities are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a Dollar General in Cartersville Monday morning.
A release from the Cartersville Police Department says that around 8:50 a.m., police responded to the Dollar General at 104 North Market on an armed robbery call.
Police found the suspect, a juvenile boy, running away on Nelson Street and arrested him without incident.

The suspect is charged as an adult with armed robbery and possession of a schedule four narcotic with intent to distribute, police say. Other charges are pending.
There were no injuries during the robbery or arrest.
