The Grand Marshal for this year is Cartersville Purple Hurricane, Auburn Tiger, and NFL running back Ronnie Brown. Proceeds benefit local charities through the Rotary Club of Etowah. (WBHF)
  4. Cartersville residents can participate in a free seminar, Four Legal Documents That Everyone Needs As They Age, on Tuesday, Jun. 21. The seminar is presented by McCoy Law Firm and will take place at Tiger Lily Estates Assisted Living & Memory Care, located at 233 Gilreath Rd NE. Light supper will be provided.   5. Don't miss the Bartow County Championship Rodeo on Jul. 8 and 9 in Cartersville! The theme of the event is Tough Enough to Wear Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness. This two-night event in the Bartow County Saddle Club’s covered arena will benefit community aid projects of the Bartow County Saddle Club. Gates open at 6:00 p.m., and the rodeo begins at 7:30 p.m. (Visit Cartersville)
