Cartersville Man Killed When Motorcycle Hits Truck On I-75

MARIETTA, GA — A Cartersville man died late Tuesday afternoon when he drove his motorcycle into the back of a slow-moving truck on Interstate 75 in Marietta.

Dennis Wolk, 63, was traveling south on I-75 near the Gresham Road overpass when his Harley Davidson motorcycle struck the back of a Peterbilt box truck that had slowed down for an accident ahead of it, according to the Marietta Police Department’s Facebook page. Wolk was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was not injured or charged.
