Cartersville Medical Center Recognizes Cindy Hancock

From Cartersville Medical Center: Cindy Hancock, RN is the most recent recipient of the DAISY Award at Cartersville Medical Center. The DAISY Award is a nationwide program that rewards and celebrates extraordinary clinical skill, compassionate care and super-human work nurses do in direct care of patients and families every day. Every nomination tells a story of extraordinary care and compassion and the nurse may be nominated by patients, families, colleagues, physicians and other staff.

Nominated by a patient, Hancock was lauded for the compassionate care she provides. The patient commented, “Cindy was compassionate, informative and very beneficial to my care. She went above and beyond in her care. She made a hard time easier. Always cheerful and enjoyed taking care of her patients and making sure they were taken care of in a caring manner. She is the best!”

Hancock, who works on the Intensive Care Unit, received a certificate, statue, flowers and reception for the recognition.
