Cartersville Medical Employees Benefit From Reinhardt Partnership

The new partnership means cheaper education for medical center employees.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Reinhardt University and Cartersville Medical Center are set to announce a new partnership, providing a strong benefit to employees of the medical center, according to a release. The medical center and university will start their partnership on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

The two organizations will sign the Educational Pathway, which will allow Cartersville Medical Center employees to take Reinhardt's undergraduate online programs at a discounted rate.

The agreement allows medical center employees to take classes for any degree, but the program is targeted towards the RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Healthcare Administration.

They'll sign the agreement at 10 a.m. at the Cartersville Medical Center, 960 Joe Frank Harris Pkwy.

Reinhardt University, founded in 1883, offers over 40 graduate and undergraduate programs online and on campus on its main 525-acre campus.

Cartersville Medical Center is a 119-bed acute care hospital, and offers services for chest pain, strokes, trauma, joint issues and diabetes.
