Cartersville Mom Remembered As 'Most Generous, Kind, Loving Person'

CARTERSVILLE, GA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mama always put others before herself. She was the most generous, kind, loving person anyone could ever hope for. She never expected anything back for her generosity. If my family ever needed anything ,she was right there — always to help. She actually passed away January 10 of this year, one day after her 99th birthday. I will always have loving memories of my precious lil mama. 😪

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

She is the best mother anyone could ever hope for.
