- Cartersville Farmers Market announced one of its own Family markets — Mama J's Produce, a family-owned market farm specializing in hydroponic greens and soil-grown vegetables — has been named the 2023 Bartow County Farm Family of the Year. Led by Carol and John Jerauld, along with their extended family, they prioritize providing fresh and locally sourced produce using sustainable methods such as hydroponics. Their high-quality greens have gained a reputation for exceptional flavor and extended freshness compared to store-bought varieties.
