Cartersville Shooting Kills Boy

CARTERSVILLE, GA — A shooting killed a boy Sunday in the 20 block of Weaver Street, Cartersville Police said.

Officers responded to an unknown concern at Weaver, where they found the boy with a gunshot wound, police said.

The boy was then taken to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries, police said.

Authorities did not reveal what led to the shooting nor identify the boy. Little details were known Monday.
