Cash, Guitars Stolen From Bartow County Church
The pastor of New Beginning Baptist Church said the alleged thief took about $400 in cash and two guitars between Sept. 6 and Sept. 9.

WHITE, GA — The Bartow County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary in which hundreds of dollars and two guitars were taken last week from a church.
A deputy was dispatched to a call of the break-in around 3:52 p.m. Sept. 9 at New Beginning Baptist Church at 205 Colonel Way in White.
The pastor of the church said someone entered the building between Thursday, Sept. 6 and Sunday and took two guitars and a bucket of change and cash from the stage. He also said he believed the alleged burglar entered the church through the back door, which was locked, according to an incident report.

That report notes about $400 in cash from donations, a Gretsch G9200 Boxcar Round Neck guitar and a Greg Bennett guitar were all taken from the premises.
No signs of forced entry or damage to the property was observed. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bartow County Sheriff's Office at 770-382-5050.
