Cartersville Election 2021: Incumbents Sweep Unofficial Results

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Election Day is over in Cartersville, and voters have cast their ballots in the 2021 municipal election. As of 9:24 p.m., Bartow County released its unofficial results, showing the incumbents sweeping the election.

This year, voters in Cartersville decided on races for City Council.

For mayor, incumbent Matthew Santini competed against Barbara Jackson. The unofficial results from Bartow County showed out of the 1,047 votes cast for mayor, Santini took 937 of those over Jackson's 110.

Valerie Holt faced off with incumbent Cary Roth for City Council Ward 3. Roth took 404 of the 520 votes cast, leaving 116 for Holt.

Only one person qualified for the following seats: Carolyn Johnson for City School Board Ward 1; Katherine White for City School Board Ward 2; Louise Panter for City School Board Ward 5; Kelley Dial for City School Board Ward 6; Kari Hodge for City Council Ward 1; and Gary Fox for City Council Ward 5.
