Chamber Hosting Grow In Bartow Job And Career Fair

CARTERSVILLE, GA — The Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the third Grow in Bartow Job and Career Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at the Cartersville Civic Center located at 435 West Main St.

“Our goal for the job fair is to facilitate a direct connection for employers and jobseekers," Chamber Workforce Development Director Matthew Thomas said. "Given what we’ve seen from the previous two job fairs, anyone who is willing to work is likely to leave the event with a job opportunity in hand.”

Staff members from Georgia Highlands College will also be on site providing break-out sessions on resume writing and interviewing skills and representatives from the Bartow County Library System will share information about resources and programs they offer to the community.

The event is open to all jobseekers and will feature a variety of businesses.

The Chamber also encourages those in attendance to bring a copy of their resume, although it is not required.
