Chamber Hosting Grow In Bartow Job, Career Fair On Wednesday

CARTERSVILLE, GA — The Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the fourth and final Grow in Bartow Job & Career Fair of the year from noon to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3 fromat the Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce, at 122 West Main St.

“With this being our last job fair of the year, we’re encouraging anyone looking for work or their next career opportunity to attend," Chamber Workforce Development Director Matthew Thomas said in a news release. "It’s no secret that employers need people and anyone who is ready and willing to work is likely to leave the event with a job opportunity in hand.”

Staff members from Georgia Highlands College will also be on site providing break-out sessions on resume writing and interviewing skills.

The event is open to all jobseekers and will feature a variety of businesses.

The Chamber also encourages those in attendance to bring a copy of their resume, although it is not required.
