Chatt Tech Student Designs Logo for State Conference
Tammy Stopher had one of her graphic designs selected by the Georgia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.

From Chattahoochee Technical College: Chattahoochee Technical College student Tammy Stopher, of Fulton County, had one of her graphic designs selected by the Georgia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (GASFAA) for its upcoming 50th anniversary meeting, which will be held in May 2017.
Stopher, who is enrolled in CTC’s Design and Media Production Technology program located on the Mountain View Campus in Marietta, said her instructor Glenn Reid encouraged her to submit the logo design to GASFAA.
“The design was largely inspired by what the client asked for in the logo,” Stopher said. “They wanted the state of Georgia, along with something mentioning the 50th anniversary and year of the event. They asked for a flower since it was taking place at Callaway Gardens, but Mr. Reid and I came back to them with the idea of using a peach, as it relates better to the state of Georgia.”

Stopher said she created about 40 sketches, and, with the help of her instructor, she condensed it down to four, which were presented to GASFAA earlier this month. The board informed Stopher that they had selected one of her designs in mid-November.
