Ministers, who are asked to gather at the courthouse annex (the old church) at 11 a.m., will move in mass to the courthouse for the noon service, the focus of which is uniformed first responders for the 10th anniversary of 9/11. About 100 uniformed first responders are expected.
At 7 p.m., the Cartersville High School stadium will play hose to a community service, the theme of which is "I am Second." The event will involve multiple testimonies from teens and adults, including country singer Josh Turner, who say Jesus is first.
Teens are asked to gather on the practice field at 6:15 p.m.
