Jewelry Stolen From Bartow County Home

The female resident of the home on Williams Road in Taylorsville reported the burglary on Jan. 30 to the Bartow County Sheriff's Office.

TAYLORSVILLE, GA — Several items of jewelry were taken from a home during a burglary reported last week in Bartow County, according to an incident report from the Bartow County Sheriff's Office. A deputy with the agency was dispatched around 6:48 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30 to a call of a burglary in Taylorsville.

The deputy met with the female resident, who said the front door her home in the 200 block of Williams Road had been forced open. According to the report, the woman said her jewelry was missing, but two handguns that were in plain sight were left untouched. No other items appeared to be missing or out of order, and no other rooms in the homes were disturbed, the incident report adds.

According to the report, four sets of earrings, four bracelets, two necklaces, two rings and a pine jewelry box with maroon velvet were all swiped from the home. Blood was also found on the floor next to the doorway, and an investigator with the sheriff's office was dispatched to the scene to collect that evidence.
