Police: Debit Card Cons Return 4-Wheeler

The possible suspects in a debit card scam at a local business returned the merchandise involved about 2:30 in the morning Monday, Lt. Mark Camp said.

The four-wheeler, which authorities say was purchased fraudulently from last week, was damaged.

Two people who identified themselves as Natasha Stanley and Marc Sims bought the $15,000 vehicle via a "forced sale"—Stanley's bank authorized the high-dollar debit card transaction, 11 Alive reported. But the funds were never transferred.

"We put our heart and soul into this business, this is ours," owner Sharon Sinnott told 11 Alive. "We work night and day and for someone to come in and feel that they're entitled, I don't want anyone else to go through it."

Camp said Monday investigators had not positively identified the suspects.
