CARTERSVILLE, GA — A man carrying a machete and wearing a mask that made him look “like Jason” is being sought by authorities after he threatened a couple in their car.

Josh Woods told WAGA-TV that he and his girlfriend were in their car outside the McDonalds on Cass-White Road when they saw a masked man kicking traffic cones. When Woods asked him why he was doing that, the masked man threw a cone at his car.

The man then approached Woods’ car, telling him “he was going to chop our heads off.” Woods described the man’s mask to the Atlanta TV station as “like a hockey mask, like Jason, with fake blood.”
