Man Struck on Side of Interstate 75
Motorist was standing behind his vehicle on the side of the roadway when he was hit, according to Bartow County first responders.
A man and his car were struck on the side of Interstate 75 on Friday, said Bartow County EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran.
The victim, 40, whose name was not released, was on the side of the roadway near mile marker 291. He was standing behind his vehicle when he was struck.
Emergency crews found him lying on the ground with severe trauma to both legs. A helicopter transported the man to Atlanta Medical Center. His condition was not released.
