Motorcycle Collides With ATV On Glade Road, Both Drivers Die
The Georgia State Patrol said neither vehicle had properly working lights when they hit head-on at 4:15 a.m. Friday.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — Two men died of their injuries from a head-on collision between an ATV and a motorcycle early Friday morning on Glade Road.
According to the Georgia State Patrol as reported by WBHF Community Radio, Larry Murray, 37, Cartersville, was riding his ATV south on Glade Road, while Shawn Hendon, 28, Acworth, was riding his motorcycle north. The two collided at about 4:15 a.m.
Neither driver was wearing proper protective gear, and neither vehicle had properly working headlights or taillights, according to the state patrol.
