New Membership Engagement Specialist Hired In Cartersville

Melissa Warren grew up just a short drive down 411 in Rome, Georgia. She will help with member acquisition and retention.

The Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce has hired a new, part-time, membership engagement specialist who will assist with member acquisition and retention. Melissa Warren's role falls under sales and service, the chamber said in a news release.

"Warren's entire working history features elements of customer service, event planning, and community involvement. She worked for nearly a decade in the banking industry but most recently comes to us from Advocates for Children where she served as event manager and volunteer coordinator," the chamber added.

Warren grew up just a short drive down 411 in Rome, Georgia. She attended Georgia Highlands College to earn her associate's degree in Business Administration before heading off to the University of West Georgia to complete her bachelor's in Marketing.

Warren lives in Cartersville with her husband Kip, a lieutenant with Bartow County Fire Department, and daughter Maggie James, 2.
