Head-On Collision Kills Two in Northeast Forsyth - Cumming Patch
Two people were killed Tuesday morning following a head-on collision on Highway 53 (Dawsonville Highway) in northeast Forsyth County, authorities said.
"What it looks like is that one of the cars actually crossed over the line and hit the other car head-on," said Robin Stone of the Georgia State Patrol, Post 37, the agency conducting the investigation. .

Drug Deal Goes Bad in Early Morning Northside Drive Shootout - Midtown Patch
Multiple gunshots were heard on Northside Drive near the Northside 75 office building around 1 a.m. Tuesday. No one was hurt in the shooting, though a bullet did shatter a window in the office building.

According to CBS Atlanta, officers responded after shots were fired at the 1701 Northside Dr. Shell station near Atlanta's westside. Officers on the scene believe suspects in three vehicles had been involved in a drug deal when the shots were fired.
Captain Tim Peek told the news outlet, "once the shots were fired, two occupants in a silver vehicle tried to flee. They rolled into the roadway and struck an innocent vehicle traveling up Northside Drive." The other two cars managed to leave the scene carrying the suspects. Midtown Patch has more on this story.
8 Indicted in Cobb Vehicle Emissions Scheme - Kennesaw Patch
A Cobb County Grand Jury on Thursday indicted eight people who authorities said conspired to sell fraudulent motor vehicle emission certificates and test results to motorists whose vehicles would not pass a legitimate emissions check.

Police Seeking Help for Missing Woman Who Left Gwinnett Medical - Gwinnett Patch
Lawrenceville, Ga., Police are seeking the help of the public in locating an endangered adult who has been missing since Sunday.
A Mattie's Call has been issued for Anastacia Lee Sircle, a 37-year-old white female who is 5'7" and 200 pounds, with short blond hair and hazel eyes. She also has a tracheotomy scar on her throat and may use the first name of Stacy, according to police. See Gwinnett Patch for more on this story.
