The release says Davis has recently been working on creating a list of businesses and residences with surveillance cameras whose owners are willing to get a call from authorities when a crime occurs in the area, boosting the chances of finding offenders.
"Robert has been with the Sheriff’s Office through four Sheriffs and has always been someone I can count on," Sheriff Gary Gulledge said in the release. "His experience and expertise in the field of criminal investigations is unparalleled. We are thankful he cares so much about our county."
