The woman was accused of firing a weapon at a Bartow County home before the deadly traffic stop that claimed her life.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Authorities say a Cartersville woman died in a police shooting after being accused of brandishing a gun during a traffic stop Wednesday.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Carrie Hall, 50, first went to a Bartow County home and shot a weapon. Authorities did not say if anyone was injured in the shooting.
