Remains Of Freddy Seth Morgan Found In Bartow County
BREAKING: The remains of Morgan, who had been missing since May, were found Saturday near Euharlee, the sheriff's office said.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — The Bartow County Sheriff's Office said remains found over the weekend have been identified as Freddy Seth Morgan, the 30-year-old man who has been missing since for more than three months.
The agency said Morgan's remains were found around 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25 by work crews removing brush in the 200 block of McCormick Road near Euharlee. The remains were confirmed as belonging to Morgan by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Medical Examiner's Office.
"Investigators are awaiting testing and examination results to determine a cause of death, but at this time no foul play is suspected," spokesperson Sgt. Jonathan Rogers said.

BCSO joined the Emerson Police Department and GBI in its investigation into the case as it obtained new information. Sgt. Rogers said Morgan left his home on Taff Road near Taylorsville around 5:30 a.m. May 24 and clocked in to his job at ZEP products in Emerson around 6 a.m.

He was picked up by a vehicle belonging to a local taxi company around 12:51 p.m. on the same day and taken to the McDonald's at 1130 West Avenue. After leaving McDonalds, he took the same taxi to his cousin's home in Cartersville, which was the last known area where Morgan was seen, Sgt. Rogers said.
Morgan's parents, Deidre and Freddy Morgan, joined BCSO officials during a June 21 press conference to plead for information that could lead to their son returning home.
"It's the most difficult thing that you could ever go through," Deidre Morgan previously said, later adding that their reliance on God is what kept the family going.
