Here are the top five stories in Cartersville today:
- Cartersville's Savoy Automobile Museum was highlighted in an Atlanta Journal-Constitution piece on nearby Adairsville, which was named as one of Travel+Leisure's best small towns for a summer vacation. Located less than a half-hour away from Adairsville, Savoy features five different exhibits with dozens of vehicles. Learn more about the museum and current exhibits here. - A Cartersville Taco Bell will be the latest site of a "scrape and build" project. The Main Street location, which closed on Tuesday, will be completely demolished and built anew for a prospective October opening. The city's other two Taco Bells — on Charley Harper Drive and Cassville-White Road — remain open. (Northwest Georgia News)
