Human remains have been found near the home of Robert Kane Rolison, the 17-year-old Middle Georgia State College student who was arrested last week in connection with the death of a fellow student from Austell.

The remains were found at a Hawkinsville site last week, and the GBI will run tests to see if they belong to Jmaal Malik Keyes, according to WMAZ-TV in Macon. South Cobb Patch has more on this story.

SWAT Team Moved in to Capture Man Holding Kidnapped and Beaten Ex-Girlfriend - Sandy Springs Patch

A Sandy Springs apartment complex was the center of activity for several hours overnight, Monday, as police and North Metro SWAT gathered to free a woman allegedly being held by her ex-boyfriend.

Gwinnett Police ID Slain Suspect as Buford Man - Buford Patch

Gwinnett Police have identified the person who was shot dead Monday in Buford in an officer-involved shooting as Rodney Pike, 38, of Buford.
