- Crews continue to work on fixing a sewer line that created the sinkhole that opened on Ponce De Leon and Penn Avenues on Tuesday afternoon. A break in the lateral sewer line caused the sinkhole to open and led to an SUV crashing into the six-foot hole. Officials report that crews will be working through the night to fix the sewer line and hope to have the repairs finished by Thursday. Until then, residents should seek alternate routes. - With the Fourth of July quickly approaching, Georgia State Police remind residents to exercise caution when driving. According to officials, last year police issued more than 9,000 citations during the holiday weekend and made 370 DUI arrests. For those planning to celebrate, be sure to monitor traffic conditions closely. (WBHF)
- For the fifth year in a row, Anheuser-Busch will team up with the National Volunteer Fire Council to deliver cans of emergency drinking water to fire departments across the country.
