Suspect Takes Purse From Car, Charges $700 On Stolen Card
The purse and wallet were taken Sunday from a vehicle parked at Allatoona Landing Marina, a Bartow County Sheriff's Office report says.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — A purse was stolen from a vehicle on Sunday at Allatoona Landing Marina in Bartow County. A Bartow County sheriff's deputy was dispatched around 3:38 p.m. Aug. 26 to 24 Allatoona Landing Road SE and met with the victim in the parking lot of the business.
According to the report, the male told the deputy that he and his family returned to the marina around 3 p.m. from the lake to find a purse and wallet were missing from the 2006 Ford Expedition.
The man told the deputy the subject used an object to unlock the driver's side door of the vehicle to access the contents inside the SUV.

He also noted he was informed that several charges were made on his CitiBank and Wells Fargo credit cards, the report adds.

One purchase was made at a store in Adairsville and about $710 was charged to the Wells Fargo credit card, the man states in the report.
