WSB- TV is reporting that a man is in good condition after being rescued by police officers from his home on Shanter Trail, near Cascade Road on Monday morning.
According to the report, "the tree sliced through the roof and into an upstairs bedroom." Neighbors say that the man was recovering from surgery and was not very mobile.
Atlanta Police officers were able to rush in and rescue the homeowner, and transport him to the hospital as a precaution.
