Atlanta Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta World AIDS Day Quilt

The Quilt will be presented on December 1 at Dunbar Elementary hosted by the International Awareness and Involvement Commitee

The International Awareness and Involvement Committee of the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. welcomes the community to join the chapter on World AIDS Day at Dunbar Elementary School, 500 Whitehall Terrace SW, Atlanta.

With the theme "Reflection, Celebration and Rejuvenation, The National AIDS Memorial Quilt will be featured and the DST Atlanta Alumnae Chapter National AIDS Memorial Quilt panels will be unveiled during the program from 6-8 p.m.

Terri Cowan, DNP, FNP-BC, APRN will be among a host of medical experts and community partners including the Center for Black Women's Wellness and Grady Hospital along with Spoken World Artist Ashlee Haze participating in the World AIDS Day program.

The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was the first chapter established in Atlanta and in Georgia, the second in the Southern Region, and the 19th chapter in the United States. Andrea Morgan is President of the chapter. The website is www.atlantaalumnaedst.org. The chapter will celebrate 100 years in 2023.
