'Boyz Rock' Mentoring Program Enjoyed a Sunday Learning to be Strong Men

The 2nd annual Boys Rock event was held Sunday, August 12, from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 pm at the pristine Mants Estate at 7755 Hall Road, Fairburn, GA.

There were an array of exciting activities planned.  They included horseback riding, fishing, team building and discussion groups.

The topics of discussion included:

-Bullying – Dr. James Griffin, Morehouse School of Medicine;
-Entrepreneurship - Endura Govan, founder//president -
-Personal Hygiene - Larry Veal, comedian and motivational speaker;
-Healthy Eating – Chef Denin and others.

"It’s imperative we help our boys build a firm foundation” said NSA co-founder Henrietta Turnquest. “Our various programs will empower the children and give them the necessary tools to become successful in the changing world in which we live” said Scott Chatman founder, A Titus Man.

The National Stylist Association (NSA) and a Titus Man joined together for Boyz Rock.
