Mayor Kasim Reed briefly spoke before the demolition saying, "we are going to do more than we ever done before to remove blight from the city of Atlanta."  "This is just one example," Mayor Reed told residents eager to hear the city's commitment to removing these dangerous properties.  The Anderson Park community like many across the metro area, has a number of blighted properties to deal with, and hopes the city will work to remove everyone one of them.

Code enforcement violations can now to be reported to police in their Code Enforcement section, Tel: 404.330.6864
