Clark Atlanta Needs Your Vote for the Home Depot Retool Your School $50K Grant

Clark Atlanta administrators and students need the community's support to win a Retool Your School grant from The Home Depot. Cascade Patch readers can support CAU's goal of winning the $250,000 Campus Pride grant by simply clicking on the link and voting for the school.

According to The Home Depot, "the Campus Pride Grant will go to the school with the most votes and social media activity." First follow them on Twiter, @RYS_2013 and then use your favorite school’s cobranded hashtag on Twitter and Instagram to earn them points towards their social media activity.  Clark Atlanta University's hashtag is #CAURYS2013.

The Home Depot says:

This year, we are doing even more to increase the number of grants offered to HBCUs by creating an additional Tier II Grant award in the amount of $10,000, for a total of 12 Tier II Grants. We will continue to award the $50,000 Tier I Grant and the $25,000 Campus Pride Grant.

Currently Clark Atlanta University has just over 3000 votes, compared to Oakwood University in Alabama who has over 160,000.  We may not be able to catch them, but I know Cascade Patch readers can lend an hand in support of our local HBCU's and register some votes for one of our local colleges.
